So much for Infrastructural development!!!

At every point in time the buzzword from the Government, both Federal and State is Infrastructural development and investments  and yet the Infrastructures already on ground are not maintained. An example is the balustrades on the bridge which is meant to protect cars from falling over to the ocean,Most balustrades on the third mainland bridge and most bridges in Lagos has been removed  and one begins to wonder do we have a department or ministry in charge of this things? or does the Government has any health and safety policy at all?
Another Observation is the street lamp which can be used to add aesthetic value to the visual character of the streets of Lagos but the lamps are not just there rather what we have is a gloomy streets that aids robbery.
